Evgen Čopi Gorišek, born in Koper(SLO) in 1994, started as an fine art painter in 2011, when he also showed his art work on his first solo exhibition.

After one year he also started to paint murals, where he makes an appeal to us within the range of social problems, being critical towards current social development. Thats why his motives are reduced to stylized forms which send us powerful messages.

Torn between the miniature and the monumental format, as key motif, repeating heads appear screaming in depicting forms and colors. In his latest works he has upgraded them into schematic figures assuming various postures and attitudes, changing layouts as well, with the minimalist restless but determined moves that create the illusion of the art space which gets increasingly filled in to the stage when it turns into a pattern.
